Prysmian Cables is a well established company, manufacturing electrical cable. We operate a range of wire drawing machnes and are committed to continuous improvement in Quality and Efficiency in all areas.
We changed to Priamus V12 drawing oil in our Rod machine during 2007 as recommended by Steve Canter (Field Service Engineer). The oil was actually under development at this stage.
Steve's recommendations were based on: clean running oil with excellent lubrication properties and this oil was the next generation to the Priamus X10. The oil was trialed with great success and from this we have decided to roll out to use in another machine.
Steve is the Field Service Engineer for Q8Oils and provides an excellent monthly service to ensure our oil is running at maximum efficiency.

Forst Broach Co. Ltd

Q8 Beethoven VHD Soluble Cutting Fluid was supplied installed and monitored by a Q8 Field Service Technician on one of our CNC Turning Centres . After several months of constant machining of material grades as mentioned above, trials proved that tooling costs were lowered; coolant sump life increased and operators preferred Beethoven VHD to previous products used.

Today DRN Engineering has an excellent working relationship with Q8 Oils and enjoys service and support never experienced before by a supplier / manufacturer of Industrial cutting fluids.

Masons are a well-established company of over 150 years, manufacturing various non-ferrous alloys, in strip form, supplying companies worldwide. We operate a Foundry, Rolling Mill and Slitting Centre and Masons are totally committed to a continuous improvement in Quality in all areas. To improve quality of our finished rolled products Masons changed over to the Q8 Bach RF4 rolling oil several years ago. For compatibility reasons, we also started using Holst 46 Hydraulic Oil and the Erebus MP220 and 320. The improvement in finished rolled product from the Mills was immediately noticeable. In order to maintain this improvement, the Rolling oil condition is regularly monitored by Q8 with visits by Steve Canter. These visits by Steve have enabled us to maintain our oil in a good condition ensuring us our finished rolled product is of a very high standard. Any problems we have encountered with the oils have been highlighted to Steve and he had been quick to respond with the right solutions. Masons have confidence in the quality of the product and back up service provided by Q8 and see no reason why this should change in the future.

We are a company based in Arbroath,Scotland specialising in Construction Plant Hire,Haulage and Quarrying.We have for a number of years used Kuwait Oils for all our general lubrication requirements who provide a high standard of service and a quality product.

We have recently sold a Caterpillar 966D Wheel Loader which had accumulated 32000 working hours in one of our Quarries during which time the engine required a set of main and big end bearings on the crankshaftOn our haulage side of the business we have a Foden Artic unit with a Caterpillar engine which is still running with the original crankshaft having accumulated in excess of 1.5 million kms.
